Remus Nica este Medic Primar – Chirurgie Generală și Oncologică la Spitalul Militar Central din București.
Specializarea sa este chirurgia cancerului de sân, un domeniu în care operează de mulți ani cu succes și unde a redat viață și speranță multor femei.
Spune des că este un om iubit de Dumnezeu, dar și el iubește oamenii și crede cu toată convingerea că datoria sa este să facă bine aici, în România, în locul în care s-a născut și care i-a dat atât de mult.
Consideră că educația pacientului este elemental-cheie prin care vom putea ridica nivelul de sănătate al populației din România.
Este membru al Societății Americane de Chirurgie a Cancerului de sân și al Societății Române de Chirurgie.
Dar, în același timp, este și violonist în Orchestra Mondială a Medicilor, precum și în Orchestra Națională a Medicilor. Susține multe concerte pe scena Ateneului Român, în țară și în străinătate. Acest lucru se datorează faptului că prima sa pasiunea a fost vioara, pe care a studiat-o încă din primii ani de viață.
Astfel, medicul – violonist Remus Nica își împarte viața între sala de operații și sala de concert, aducându-le alinare pacienților săi prin mânuirea cu măiestrie a bisturiului, în aceeași măsură în care le aduce alinare spectatorilor săi prin mânuirea cu delicatețe a arcușului.

His specialty is breast cancer surgery, a field in which he has operated successfully for many years and where he has given life and hope to many women.
He often says that he is a man loved by God, but he also loves people and believes with all conviction that his duty is to do good here, in Romania, in the place where he was born and which has given him so much.
He believes that patient education is the key element through which we will be able to raise the health level of the Romanian population.
He is a member of the American Society of Breast Cancer Surgery and the Romanian Society of Surgery.
But at the same time, he is also a violinist in the World Orchestra of Doctors, as well as in the Romanian National Orchestra of Doctors. He gives many concerts on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum, in the country and abroad. This is due to the fact that his first passion was the violin, which he studied from his early years.
Thus, the doctor - violinist Remus Nica divides his life between the operating room and the concert hall, bringing relief to his patients by skillfully handling the scalpel, to the same extent as he brings relief to his spectators by delicately handling the bow.
